OK new year and a promise

to keep blogging. I know I don't get many visits but I love it when I do so please keep coming to visit and I will even put my crafting on here too....

but today isn't a good day for me, it is a year today that we said our final goodbyes to a special man, our daddy.... miss you so much, it gets harder everyday but we keep carrying on....

Making alot of these for birthday gifts this year, really enjoyed making this one and it is a present for someone special to me who's birthday I forgot.... Whoops.

Also made my first piece of jewelery, well a bag charm but waiting for lots of beads etc to arrive and only had small beads so this is what I came up with....

By orders of the dr yesterday I have to craft daily. She said that because of my grief and depression after losing my dad crafting will take my mind off things and it does help but the only problem is I am getting over-run with my creations so I have added more things to ebay today. so much as happened over the last 18 months but I am back to crafting.

Can't believe it is nearly 4 months since dad died and I am back home.

I have placed a few things on ebay because I need to start using my stash of supplies and also make some money to pay some bills from when I was in Nottingham with dad. So expect to see more from me again.

the colours for last weeks challenge were.... melon, chocolate and aqua, not to sure my colours were to good but hey I am restricted with the stash I have here at my dad's house and while I am still here caring for him I have to make do. OK now onto the card, I hope you like it....

stamp is Jade from the greeting farm roll call set,
coloured with copics,
background is stamped with a stamp from stampin up, my sweet pea collection and also the greetings farm spotlight collection,
papers are MME, buttons are stampin up and greeting is a inkadinkado stamp fron kids quotes collection...

Here Jade was altered with dress up Anya (only because I messed up stamping Jades head) and coloured with copics, the card is heavily distressed (but no card came to any harm during the making of this one).

I know it is ages since I blogged and my friends know why. I am still in Nottingham most of time with dad who is not too great but is still fighting.I am still able to craft a little with the few things I have here so craft to save me going mad. I hope all my craft friends are well and know that I am still around.

we were so happy when we noticed the tree in our garden (our new house) was a magolia tree, which is my favourite tree so we keep taking pics and well the first few buds appeared on the 1st april and now the tree is full and starting to lose the flowers. Here are some pics...

we had a great time again and I also saved 5% off my order for making this card with flowers on it. the message stamps are what I got last month also used storybook cricut cart, my minds eye papers and stamping up cardstock. I have also decorated the inside.

baby sitting yesterday and last night, but I really love children so that is good.. I have been creating too but not finished, I am naking a book for our little borrowd grandson, he is being blessed at church tomorrow. I will finish the book after I have the photo's.

Curtis had a great week at school and I am happy to report he did not ruin any trousers like he usually does, maybe he is starting to grow up a little now.

He looks lovely and well you can bet by tomorrow night he will be dirty and his knees will be out of his trousers but at least they are cheap not like his blazer. He is really looking forward to being in year 8 and he is busy deciding what to do for his birthday.

I gave in and got a Wii and well I keep beating the boys (including Mark) at all the sports and thats with my bad back, so I left them to practice so they can beat me

Curtis is back to school tomorrow and starting year 8, they changed the schools name and uniform and he looks so young in his shirt and blazer.
